Mariam S. Urdaneta APRN, FNP-C, founded SEEN Aesthetics. After working at different Medical Spas and visiting countless others, Nurse practitioner Mariam began to realize the need for a more personalized, specialized approach to facial aesthetics.
She had a vision for a high-end, modern space where facial aesthetics is prioritized and where she could seamlessly integrate regenerative medicine with facial rejuvenation.

What are Hyaluronic Acid Fillers?
Hyaluronic Acid is a complex carbohydrate molecule produced naturally by our body and reabsorbed in a short regular cycle. Its job is to attract fluid and provide hydration to the surrounding tissue.
Dermal (Hyaluronic Acid) fillers contain hyaluronic acid in a concentrated form, designed to integrate into your own tissue and hydrate and plump the area. They last between 6 – 24 months, depending on the type and amount injected, as well as the individual person.
Dermal (Hyaluronic Acid) fillers are not permanent and can be dissolved if necessary.
Will I look ‘frozen’ or ‘unnatural’?
A more natural look is absolutely achievable; the key is taking a holistic view of the face. Best results may be achieved by gradual treatments, making subtle improvements each time. This approach results in a more refreshed and rejuvenated appearance, rather than looking like you've 'had work done'.

Does it hurt?
Our Hyaluronic Acid dermal fillers contain a local anaesthetic, so any discomfort is minimized. Our techniques are designed to maximize your comfort; those receiving dermal filler treatments will often describe the feeling as a mild stinging sensation – or ‘weird but not painful’.
How long do they last?
Longevity differs from person to person and from treatment to treatment. Because the product is being injected into the body, some bodies may metabolize the product faster than others. See below for average longevity based on treatment:
